Headies Has Started This Obvious Industry Politics Again – CDQ Drags Organisers After Mayorkun Won Best Street Hop

Rapper CDQ has a few words for the organizers of the headies award after Mayorkun took home the best street hop category over fellow rapper Naira Marley. The rapper took to his Twitter page to slam the organizers noting that they have started their industry politics again.

He asked how Mayorkun was able to clinch the award over Naira Marley despite everything the rapper had done for the street culture. The Best street hop category is a voting category for the artiste whose songs are inspired by the streets. Such song should captain lingua, which may also be originated by the artiste and popular on the street. Mayorkun clinched the award over the likes of Naira Marley, Paul Okoye, Zlatan, and Olamide.

A few weeks ago the rapper condemned the silhouette challenge mentioning that only prostitutes participate in the challenge. He wrote: “Pls what’s this mumu mumu boro boro devilish tin our ladies doing online now. Any lady that jumps on that retarded #SilhouetteChallenge thing na ogbontarigi ashawo right from time wey just see Avenue to exhibit her work eyin adojuti molebi”.
