Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has lamented how the State is getting little or no support from the Federal Government in rescuing the Kagara students.
Recall that the some armed bandits had reportedly stormed the Government Science College, Kagara on Wednesday 17th February, 2021, carting away with 42 people, including 27 students, three workers and 12 members of their families in the school.Former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu jhad then visited Bello in Minna, and called on the FG for support. According to him, the FG should set up a joint security committee to expedite action for the release of the abducted persons.

Supporting his call, Governor Sani Bello pointed out that at the moment, he has little or no support from the government at the centre. He, however, reiterated the state government’s commitments to securing the release of the abductees.
