My Mother Was Selling Fruits On The Streets For 19 Years’- Singer, Crayon Shares Family Struggles

Fast-rising Nigerian singer and songwriter, Crayon has taken to the streets of Twitter to share his family struggles in an inspiring and touching story.

Crayon born Charles Chibueze Chukwu disclosed that his mother was a popular fruit seller for 19 years and she was selling at the same spot with her small table on the street for all those years.

Crayon further revealed that he changed the life of his mother after he inked his first deal in 2019 as he changed her line of business.

He also confessed stealing some money from her to pay for his studio recording and mastering expenses.

In his words;

“My mum used to be the most popular fruit seller in iyana iba ask anybody of iya carrot that’s my mum. She sold fruits for 19 years straight on the same spot with her small table and things.

I changed all that after I signed my deal back in 2019! Now she chilling. Glory to God!”

His post was a retweet to a tweet he initially made;
