Famous Nigerian author Reno Omokri has urged unemployed youth to do their own work and stop whining or ranting about the lack of jobs in the country.
According to Reno, if no one employs you, you have to employ yourself. He noted that if you have internet and a smartphone then you can employ yourself by engaging in drop shipping, affiliate marketing, YouTubing and the likes.
If no one gives you a job, don’t whine or rant. Simply employ yourself. As long as you have Internet and a smartphone, you can be self employed today in Drop Shipping, Affiliate Marketing, YouTubing, Amazon sales, Forex Trader, Survey Taker. The list goes on and on

When one of his fans identified as Clinton replied that employing oneself by doing any one of the list is not an easy task especially YouTubing, Reno told Clinton to read Proverbs 23:7 and focus on possibilities because everything is possible.
Your mind is a God given supercomputer that manifests your thoughts into reality. As long as you have this mentality, you won’t succeed. Nothing is easy. But everything is possible. Focus on possibilities. Read Proverbs 23:7 and internalise it
Zamfara: Abducted Emir regains freedom after one month in captivity
The Emir of Bungudu in Zamfara State, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, who was kidnapped about one month ago along Kaduna-Abuja highway by gunmen suspected to be bandits, has regained his freedom.
DAILY POST recalls that the emir was kidnapped when bandits attacked his motorcade on September 14 while on his way to Kaduna State.
The Special Adviser to Governor Bello Matawalle on Strategy, Gazali Shehu Ahmad confirmed the release of the monarch through a post on his official Facebook page on Saturday night.
According to the Adviser, the monarch will be receiving medical attention throughout the coming week to regain his mental health.
He wrote, “On behalf of the family and Bungudu Emirate, we wish to thank everyone for the prayers and support during this trying time.
“We appreciate all the efforts of Kaduna State Government throughout this challenging period. Our immense gratitude to the Zamfara State Government in playing a key role to see our father returning home safely.
“We salute the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) for the support in facilitating the release of the Emir.
“We wish to plead with the public to respect the privacy of the Emir in the coming weeks as he receives medical attention and post-trauma management.”
Recall that reports emerged a few days ago that about N20 million was paid as ransom to his abductors, but the assailants demanded that additional amount must be paid before he would be released.
EPL: Gary Neville names five Man Utd players that shouldn’t be starting together
Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville has named Cristiano Ronaldo among five Red Devils players that should not be starting together.
According to Neville, Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes should not be starting together for Man United because they lacked ‘workhorses’.
The former defender said this while reacting to Man United’s Premier League 4-2 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.
Leicester defeated Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side at the King Power Stadium, thanks to goals from Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka.
“Their performances are nowhere near good enough, at the moment when they play half-decent teams, they are going to struggle,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“The performances have been shoddy all season. It’s scrappy and scruffy to watch. So when you play against a team with a methodology, you are going to get pulled apart. They got pulled apart against Villa, pulled apart against Everton, pulled apart by Villarreal.
“We have seen a team that’s been picked today with Greenwood, Sancho, Pogba, Ronaldo and Fernandes in that team.
“I wouldn’t want to be a defender in that team. I would love them as players but not all in the same team. There are not enough workhorses. The current squad is unbalanced.”
Brentford vs Chelsea: Tuchel rates Malang Sarr, Chalobah’s performances after EPL 1-0 win
Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has praised the performances of Malang Sarr and Trevoh Chalobah following his side’s Premier League 1-0 win against Brentford on Saturday.
Sarr and Chalobah played in a back three, alongside Andreas Christensen.
The youngsters played their part in keeping a clean sheet for Tuchel’s side as Ben Chilwell’s first-half goal gave Chelsea all three points against Brentford.
Speaking on their performances, Tuchel told Sky Sports: “We trust the guys who played, they are young and they needed it.
“Otherwise, if you don’t play, you can’t get experience.
“They did very, very good and in the last 25 minutes, we need to talk about where we can do better and always there is room to improve.”
Chelsea’s next fixture is against Malmo in the Champions League on Wednesday.
