Don’t Preach Division Of Nigeria

As the National Youth Service Corps NYSC Batch B Stream 1 members have been sworn into the scheme in their various called-up states, the Director-General of the scheme, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has enjoined them not to join in preaching the gospel of the secession of Nigeria.

Shuaibu Ibrahim said this in the light of the tension which have over time risen in the nation with the calls for the Yoruba Nation and Biafra Republic as spearheaded by Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu respectively.Don't Preach Division Of Nigeria - NYSC DG Tells Corp Members

Giving the charge today Monday at the temporary NYSC Orientation Camp, Amada, Gombe State during the swearing in ceremony of the Corps members, the DG urged them to shun acts capable of promoting disunity and division in the country. He rather, asked them to be ambassadors of peace and unity as the nation builders that they are.

“Always promote the unity of the country, let the spirit of NYSC lives in you. As nation builders; you must refrain from all forms of cyber crimes, drive your vision with passion, do not cut corners”, he said.

He further urged the Corps members to respect the culture and values as well as contribute meaningfully to the development of their host communities, and stressed on the need for the Corps members to seek for permission before travelling in view of the spate of road accident and security challenges in the country.

Adding that corp members have recently been involved in auto-crash, Brig.-Gen. We Will Welcome Jonathan If He Defects – APC

All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday said it would welcome former President Goodluck Jonathan should he decide to join the party. National Secretary of the party, Senator John Akpanudoedehe said this while answering questions on a Channels Television Political Programme, Politics Today.

Goodluck Jonathan“I am hearing that for the first time that we are expecting the former President. That will be great news. We will welcome him; that will also strengthen the party,” “I don’t want to speculate.” Akpanudoedehe, who is also the National Secretary, APC Caretaker, and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee, said.

He said “Everyone is allowed to join the APC, we welcome everyone who wants to join. We are getting stronger in terms of our progressive agenda. I’m hearing that for the first time, if he comes, we will welcome him, that will be great news. “The last National Executive Committee meeting gave a blanket approval to everyone who wants to join the party and anyone who joins the party has the right to aspire for any office.”

8-Year-Old Prince Was Killed By Three Men

 8-Years-Old prince was killed by three men in prince George’s County, on Wednesday, September 15.  The Three men were arrested for first-degree murder, second-degree murder and weapons-related charges.

A group of adults were gathered outside on the Brightseat Road, when three men approached in a white sedan.
One occupant from that white sedan fired shots toward the area that this group was gathered. The young prince, who was not outside at that time, was struck by gunfire and was pronounced dead.

His mom Tiffani Evans said, the prince was getting ready to start third grade and had already gone shopping for new shoes for the school year.
Tiffani Evans further described her son, as a mathematician and said he had a bright future.
She sadly said “That’s all I had. That’s all I lived for. I sacrificed so much in my life for that little boy, and now my son gone to some dudes that wanted to do some horrible things, instead of being a man”.
