ERADICATING PROGRAMMED IGNORANCE – TOWN CRIER: Speaking the Truth … In-Spite-Of the Blowback

LISTEN TO RECORDED SHOW BELOW INTRO ARTICLE

By: Roger Landry (TLB)

I am always open to new platforms, podcasts, radio shows, tele-podcasts, etc… and appreciate their invite as a chance to share what we (TLB) truly believe everyone needs to know and understand today. This show is exactly why I have made the opening comment. Via certain questions/comments sent in during the original live broadcast (including “this is all crap, etc…”), it didn’t take me long to realize that my thoughts were going to be very strange and/or radical to a lot of this audience … and I looked up and said, thanks …

washington freedom of speech

Talking in an echo chamber helps to get your facts and story straight and sharp … but it informs very few. This show, via its professional and very fair Host, Peter G, so graciously offered to me the chance to open up and say what I knew needed to be said, knowing full well not all of his audience may appreciate this, this is FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Speaking the Truth … In-Spite-Of the Blowback

BUT … Having the ability to say what needs to be said doesn’t guarantee you an audience. Unless one is offered in the realm of true journalism. Thanks Peter !!!

Capture Peter G Show MODIFIED

Let me borrow a paragraph from one of my recent EPI episodes, because it is so very apropos to the upcoming discussion:

“As we look around us today we are seeing a massive global push towards the Great Reset … Global governance/tyranny now exists on a level that makes all but useless any of your valued personal or civil rights/liberties. Chaos is rampant across the globe and growing. Anger is rising to dangerous levels in nations you would never have considered (Australia, Israel, etc…), and is steadily growing. The big picture behind all of this that MUST be understood … It is all Choreographed.

BUT … From Chaos comes sanity and relief … The Great Reset !!!”

What follows covers a lot of ground from Supply shortages, first responders quitting, our military being threatened, open southern boarder, increasing inflation, to global laughingstock, dictatorial mandates, and even Global COVID Tyranny, Fear, and distrust all the way up to the Great Reset.

In other words this show may not be … for the faint of heart … but spot on for those who need to understand that the world consists of far more than you are being told, or allowed to hear about. Please fasten your seat-belt as we step back and have a look at ‘the big picture’

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

Florida Man Tased, Arrested for Jumping Court Railing During Wife's Sentencing for Child Abuse

A court hearing in Florida turned chaotic on Friday when a man attempted to intervene in his wife’s sentencing.

Gregory Carrasquillo was among the friends and family members present for the sentencing hearing of his wife, Crystal Carrasquillo, 24, for child abuse at the Charlotte County Justice Center in Punta Gorda, Florida. She was ultimately sentenced to 10 years in prison, having previously opted out of a trial by jury in August and pleading guilty to one count of aggravated child abuse.

During the hearing, Carrasquillo first interrupted the proceedings when he allegedly stood up in the gallery and asked to speak with the judge. He was promptly told to sit back down by the court bailiffs and did so.

During the final moments of the hearing, while the judge was reading out the formal punishment for his wife, Carrasquillo allegedly made a ruckus once again. This time, the sheriff’s office said, he scaled the court railing and attempted to approach his wife. Bailiffs tried to restrain him, but he resisted.

“At that time, one of the deputies deployed their taser, successfully contacting Gregory on his lower body,” the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said about the incident. “Gregory then complied and was placed under arrest.”

Carrasquillo is now charged with one count of resisting without violence. In the wake of the incident, Sheriff Bill Prummell praised the court’s bailiffs for their handling of it.

“Bailiffs play an important role in the courtroom throughout the administration of justice,” the sheriff said. “They provide security not only to the judge, but to all parties in the room at all times. While I understand these proceedings can elicit an emotional response from loved ones, my bailiffs simply cannot allow an outburst of this kind. Their actions were swift, appropriate, and necessary to ensure the safety of everyone.”

Crystal Carrasquillo was first arrested in 2018 after her then four-month-old infant was taken to a hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida, by a family member due to trouble breathing. Officials at the Fawcett Memorial Hospital eventually found that the infant had suffered “numerous broken bones in various stages of healing,” including injuries to its rib cage, skull, and shoulder blade. The mother later told investigators handling her case that she would sometimes blackout from stress while abusing her child.

Assistant State Attorney Jennifer Garczewski and Assistant State Attorney Michael Colombo Jr. served as prosecutors on her case.

Newsweek reached out to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office for an official comment on this story.

CNN’s Stelter Dunks On Fired Chris Cuomo: Caused ‘So Many Headaches,’ CNN Staffers Were ‘Very Unhappy’

CNN’s Brian Stelter dunked on fired network host Chris Cuomo on Saturday while breaking the news to CNN’s television audience live on the air.

Stelter said that Cuomo “violated journalistic ethics and norms not once or twice, but many times,” adding that Cuomo “had been suspended not just, you know, for a week, not in the kind of way that’s a fake suspension to take pressure off CNN, this was a real suspension.”

When talking about the “additional information” that the network learned about Cuomo during the course of their investigation, Stelter said he did not know if CNN would ever reveal what that information was.

“I think this may be a situation, Jim, just drawing on my years as a media reporter, I think this may be a situation where it was death by a 1,000 cuts, where there were just so many headaches, time and time again, involving Chris Cuomo, that even though many viewers loved watching ‘Cuomo Prime Time’ and looked forward to his show, that he was causing so many headaches for the network and for CNN staffers, that ultimately this decision was reached,” Stelter said. “That’s just drawing on my background, you know, covering other stories like this. I do think, you know, this is a moment where journalistic ethics are at play. And I know there were many CNN staffers very unhappy with the situation, very frustrated by Chris Cuomo.”

TRANSCRIPT:

JIM ACOSTA: We have breaking news to report to you right now about CNN anchor Chris Cuomo. Earlier this week, Cuomo was suspended from CNN after documents revealed he had been involved more than previously known in shaping his brother’s, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, defense. Cuomo, Chris Cuomo we should point out, has now been terminated here at CNN. That’s the latest breaking news about what’s happening here at CNN. I want to get to CNN’s Brian Stelter. Brian, obviously this is huge news, not only inside CNN but for this industry. What can you tell us?

BRIAN STELTER: Yes, Chris Cuomo, one of the most popular anchors at CNN, one of the best known names in television news, violated journalistic ethics and norms not once or twice, but many times. And that’s ultimately, what is the result of today’s news, Jim. As you mentioned, Cuomo just terminated by CNN this afternoon. And here’s the statement from management explaining the decision, saying, “Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week, pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated effective immediately. While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light. Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.” So this is a big surprise for a lot of people. Jim, I didn’t expect to be on with you this evening, talking about this breaking news. But we did know that Cuomo had been suspended not just, you know, for a week, not in the kind of way that’s a fake suspension to take pressure off CNN, this was a real suspension. He was put on the bench indefinitely while management conducted a review. What we didn’t know until tonight, Jim, is that an outside law firm also came in, and that the law firm went through the thousands of pages of text messages and sworn testimony that was released back on Monday. So there was clearly something in those documents that was found to be a serious breach of standards and practices. Of course, it was known months ago that Chris Cuomo was helping his brother, talking to his brother, while his brother was trying to hold on to the governorship and defending himself amid sexual harassment allegations. What we learned this week in those text messages, and in that sworn testimony, was that he basically was acting like a staffer. He was like an unpaid staffer for the governor. And he was doing that at the same time he was working for CNN. Now, there is one part of the statement, Jim, that we don’t know anything about. Now, just to be completely transparent with the audience. It says there’s additional information that also came to light sometime this week. We don’t know what that is. I’ve asked, there’s no answers coming on what that could be. What we do know is that Cuomo was terminated earlier today. We know in the past — I have reached out to Chris, asked him for comments, and have not heard back yet. We know in the past, he has said he always put family first. And he said he was sorry to put his CNN colleagues in a difficult situation. Now that difficult situation will not exist, because Chris Cuomo has been terminated.

ACOSTA: And Brian, do we know when this new information might be brought out to the public, and we’ll have a sense as to what this additional information was?

STELTER: I don’t know, actually, if it ever will, I think that’s very much unclear. You know, certainly in the years I’ve spent covering media, we know that companies try to keep these things as private as possible. But this is playing out in a very public stage because of Chris Cuomo’s prominence, and because of his relationship with his brother. I think this may be a situation Jim, just drawing on my years as a media reporter, I think this may be a situation where it was death by a 1,000 cuts, where there were just so many headaches, time and time again, involving Chris Cuomo, that even though many viewers loved watching “Cuomo Prime Time” and looked forward to his show, that he was causing so many headaches for the network and for CNN staffers, that ultimately this decision was reached. That’s just drawing on my background, you know, covering other stories like this. I do think, you know, this is a moment where journalistic ethics are at play. And I know there were many CNN staffers very unhappy with the situation, very frustrated by Chris Cuomo. At the same time, Jim, I was hearing from some fans of Chris, some viewers who said, we understood he was looking out for his family. This was always a very complicated situation. But I think the text messages and the documents this week, showing that he was very deeply involved, very cozy with the governor’s office, very improperly working with the aides, that was ultimately why this decision was announced tonight.

Eskom to implement load-shedding from 9pm on Saturday but warns it could be earlier

Published

The Paradise Breaking News

Eskom said there was also a complete shutdown of the Kendal power station ash plant due to an electrical fault.

“This required the station’s output to be reduced to minimum. The ash plant has since returned to service, and the ash backlog recovery is in progress.”

Eskom said these constraints, together with higher demand on Friday and Saturday, have resulted in extensive use of emergency generation reserves, “which will have to be sufficiently recovered for the week ahead”.

It added: “Total breakdowns have increased to 14,727MW while planned maintenance is 6,711MW of capacity as we continue with the reliability maintenance.

“Eskom appeals to all South Africans to help reduce the usage of electricity by switching off non-essential items in order to help us through these constraints.

“We will communicate promptly should there be any significant changes to the power system.”
