When asked if he could reject any movie role, he said, “As an actor, I would project any role given to me to the best of my ability, even if it is x-rated.”

Though some are of the opinion that the acting profession is not as lucrative as it seems, Ijebu said, “If one loves what one does and it’s one’s passion, one would not have a problem with that. There are good days and bad days, it is the passion one has that would keep one going. It happens in all sectors, not just Nollywood, and some are even worse.” Olatayo Amokade Ijebu KOKO TV NG 4

A chanced meeting of two strangers at a gas (petrol) station turned out to be a magical moment that would change their lives forever in ways they would never have imagined.

A woman identified as TunDe Hector was headed to a gas station to get gas with her last $5 (N2k) when she met Chris Wright, a man who took pity on her.

According to CBS News, TunDe who was going through financial problems coupled with her divorce had stepped out in the rain to make the purchase when a stranger spotted her.

Chris Wright was going to church with his family and after he dropped them off, he circled back to where she was.

He drove TunDe to the station, helped her fill her empty can and gave the struggling woman all the cash he had on him at that time which totaled $40 (N16,408).

Speaking on the rationale behind her husband’s action, his wife Carmen said: “You know when you have an urge and a desire something to do good? He was raised that way. He’s kind and generous to everyone. He’d never picked up anybody before, but he felt compelled.”

Chris and Hector never saw each other after that incident, but fate brought them together again 3 years later.

The man’s mother Judy was down with Parkinson’s disease and was told she had few weeks to live. Her family got the services of nurses to look after their mum and it turned out TunDe was one of the nurses.

She offered utmost care to the ailing elderly woman, not knowing that Judy was the mother of her benefactor 3 years ago.

Interestingly while speaking with Judy and her family, TunDe had shared the incident of that fateful day she met Chris only to discover that the kind man who showed her kindness was present.

Unfortunately, after that reunion, Judy passed away. TunDe was said to have continued checking up on Chris’ family after until one day they overheard her discussion with an advisor in which it was stated that she owed money for some classes.

They also discovered that Hector had an ambition of getting into nursing school and they immediately started fundraising for her. The fundraising which was targeted at raising just $1,000 (N410,000) for Hector got over $34,000 (over N13 million).
