Chaos In Lagos As Truck Kills Masquerade, Two Others
A masquerade and two others have reportedly died in the Isolo road, Mushin area of Lagos State when they were allegedly hit by a truck.
An eyewitness simply identified as @Austynzogs said as of the time of filing the report that there is an “ongoing clash at Isolo road, Area D police command, between the Police & traditional masquerades, after a trailer fully loaded with plywood crushed a male masquerade & 2 people to death.
“Irate masquerades have now blocked both to & fro of Isolo road, Mushin”
Lagos Police Command Reacts
Confirming the new to Newsbreak.ng, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said officers have been deployed to the area to restore peace.
Further stated that only one person died in the unfortunate incident not three and his officers were at the scene to restore normalcy when an irate mob attacked the truck driver.
