The Deputy-Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Zubairu Hamza Massu, has announced his exit from the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC), Newsbreak reports.
Although a report by Premium Times claims Massu is joining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), multiple reports said his next destination is the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP).
The NNPP in Kano State has been gaining new members since former governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso joined in March.
In a letter addressed to the chairman of the APC in his Massu Ward of Sumaila Local Government Area (LGA), the Deputy-Speaker said he was leaving the APC due to unjust treatment, lack of internal democracy and the total ‘marginalization’ of Kano South.
