Baltimore – A Baltimore judge on Monday ordered Adnan Syed’s release after he overturned Syed’s conviction for the 1999 murder of Hye Min Lee — a case taped on the hit podcast “The Serial.”

Circuit Court Judge Melissa Finn has ordered Syed’s conviction to be overturned and agreed to release the 41-year-old who has spent more than two decades behind bars.
