Scooby-Doo movies are available on Netflix

Scooby-Doo and the gang are riding the Mystery Machine to Netflix in the very near future. The two living things Scooby Doo The films, written by James Gunn and directed by Raja Gosnell, have achieved cult status among movie fans two decades after their release in theaters. Starting in October, finding them on streaming services will be a lot easier, as they both move to the world’s most popular streaming service.

Netflix announced on Tuesday that Scooby Doo And the Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed It will be added to the live stream on October 1st. You can take a look at the ad below!

Both Scooby Doo films starring Matthew Lillard, as Shaggy; Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne; Freddy Prinze Jr., as Fred; Linda Cardellini as Velma. Neil Fanning provided the voice of Scooby.

Jenn and Gosnell collaborated for both Scooby live-action films, and there were at one time plans for a third film to complete the trilogy. Unfortunately, that movie never came out, but Gunn has since shared what his plans were for the script.

“The Mystery Ink is hired by a town in Scotland and complains about their exposure to monsters but we discover throughout the film that the monsters are actually the victims and Scooby & Shaggy must come to terms with their own prejudices and narrow belief systems. (Yes, really!),” Gunn shared once others in 2020.

Scooby Doo It hit cinemas again in 2002, which means that this year marks its 20th anniversary. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashedreleased in 2004, two years after the first film. Scooby Doo It grossed over $275 million at the box office, while the sequel topped $181 million.
