The former NFL player has shifted UFC fighter Austin Lane his weight on who would make the best MMA fighter: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes?

As someone who has gone from the challenge of creating an NFL roster to transitioning into an entirely new contact sport, Austen Lane is uniquely qualified to determine who will do well in the Octagon.

Even though the NFL’s leading players spend their seasons working on golf, it might be time for someone to consider UFC coaching.

When I asked Lane’s FanSided’s Amy Kaplan who would make the best transition between Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Tom Brady, Lane gave a hilarious answer as to why he hooked up with Rodgers.

“Aaron Rodgers is kicking ayahuasca now, so you know what I mean? When you do ayahuasca things, you can free up your mind a little bit, open your mind to different things. You talk about jujitsu and flows…”

Lane also explained why he chose Rodgers over Mahomes when it came to potential UFC prowess.

“Patrick Mahomes, I feel his brother would be a distraction, but I think it’s kind of like the ‘Full Send’ guys, I mean he’s a perfect fit,” Lane said.

“But I’m a Wisconsin dude through and through.” “Go ahead and give me Aaron Rodgers. Go ahead and give me the ayahuasca rides. Go ahead and open his mind to me and all that, and let’s see what he can do in the cage.”

Austin Lane believes Ayahuasca will give Aaron Rodgers superpowers as a UFC fighter

Lynn appears to have taken Aaron Rodgers at his word, as the longtime Packers quarterback talks about how ayahuasca improved his game and allowed him to win Back-to-back MVP Awards.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I really don’t. I don’t believe in chance at this point. It’s the universe that brings things to happen when they’re supposed to happen.”

There are signs and synchronicities all around us at all times if we’re awake enough to see and absorb them and listen to our intuition when it talks to us or rings us in the head saying, ‘Hey you idiot, that’s what you’re supposed to do. “

While Lynn and Rodgers — and Allen Lazard, apparently — think ayahuasca is key, there are two other legendary players in the mix who could make a UFC transition.

Mahomes a possibility, but Brady? Lane thinks he’s had enough, so there’s no need to try to dominate the UFC world.

“I mean, he does [Brady] I have to do it?” said Lynn. “What more do you want, Tom? How many Super Bowls do you have? You’re married to a former Victoria’s Secret supermodel… he doesn’t need to come to dominate another sport. Just do whatever you want in Tampa Bay, come out loud, and we’ll see you later.”
