The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max from Apple not only offer updated hardware, but also bring a new face to top-notch iPhones. Since its release, Dynamic Island has received praise and criticism as well, and since it’s only part of the software, it was only a matter of time before it showed up on Android phones. Now, thanks to DynamicSpot for Jawomo, you can also enjoy a smart notification experience on your smartphone.
The developer’s latest app and currently in beta features some of the best parts of Apple’s Dynamic Island, but it also offers some customization options as well. With DynamicSpot, you will have the ability to set up the type of notifications that appear on your screen. Furthermore, you will have the option to change the appearance of the DynamicSpot, such as changing its position and size as well as how the edges are rounded. There is even an option to show two popup notifications when they arrive.
If you are looking for more functionality, the app has a pro option that comes in at $4.99. The paid version will unlock new features such as giving the user the ability to show DynamicSpot on the lock screen, and access to one-click and long-press actions. Jawomo is a longtime developer who is also responsible for AOD notification light apps for Samsung and OnePlus devices, and also a Bixby button reset tool.
Again, at the moment, the app is in beta, so not everything will be perfect. The developer shares that the animations may not be consistently smooth and there may also be some issues with the app’s compatibility. But for the most part, when tested, things look fine with notifications popping up on DynamicSpot, expanding previews when holding them, etc. If you are interested, you can also try the beta version available through the Google Play Store. The app is free with no ads but it’s a work in progress, so if you see something that might not work properly, it might be a good idea to leave feedback.
