Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with aggravated robbery at a convenience store in southwest Houston.
Investigators said a blue 2006-2009 Ford Focus with bronze or copper-colored aftermarket wheels was towed to a convenience store in the 4200 block in South Kirkwood on September 10 at 12:10 a.m.
Two men got out of the back door of a car and an assault rifle and approached the victim, who was sitting outside the store, police said.
One suspect took $2 in cash from the victim, while the second suspect tried to steal a Ford Mustang but could not find the keys.
Both suspects then returned to the passenger seat of a Ford Focus, while the third suspect was driving and fled the scene, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police described the three suspects as Hispanic men, about 5 feet 5 to 7 inches tall, and aged between 18 and 19.
One of the suspects was last seen armed with an assault rifle and was wearing a black pullover and jeans.
Another suspect was seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
