Houston traffic: Person hospitalized after car is trapped under 18-wheeler along Beltway and Fondren, HPD says!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Police said a person was taken to hospital after a car got stuck under 18 wheels following an accident in southwest Houston.

According to Houston police, the accident occurred at approximately 2:20 p.m. Wednesday on the 8400 block of S. Sam Houston Parkway West and Fondren Road.

It was not clear what caused the accident, but police said a gray Toyota sedan was trapped under the large drilling rig.

The severity of the person’s injuries was not known.

Survey footage from SkyEye showed two front lanes closed while authorities continued to work on clearing the place.
