Nigerian movie producer cum business man, Andy Ikechukwu Nnadi, popularly known as Andy Best, has died.
Filmmaker and founder of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Seun Oloketuyi announced his passing in an Instagram post on Tuesday, March 18.
According to Seun, Andy Best died at an undisclosed hospital in Owerri on Tuesday. In his words:
“Andy best Top Nollywood producer and Marketer is dead, He died in an Owerri hospital today.”
The late Andy, who holds the chieftaincy title of Akudinanwa, hails from Umunkwo village in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state.
Until his death, he was the CEO of Andy Best Electronic Limited and Andy Best Production, a popular movie production company in Nigeria.
He produced many Nollywood movies, including The Lion of Africa, White Poison, My Father’s Cup, My Father’s Loveamongst others.
His remains have been deposited at the Aladinma Mortuary, in Owerri.
Meanwhile, Nigerian actress cum businesswoman, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has recollected her near accident ordeal on the Third Mainland Bridge while mourning the death of a friend.
According to the actress and mother of one, the near accident occurred two nights before Akintoye Benson, an aide to Lagos socialite and transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo, died in a car accident on the same bridge.
Nkechi Blessing made this known in an Instagram post on Friday, March 8, in which she encouraged her followers to be careful while driving on the bridge.
While mourning Akintoye Benson, Nkechi Blessing urged him to rest well, lamenting how he died on the same third mainland bridge.
