Former President John Dramani Mahama has slammed the NPP over their claims of having been a better government than the Nkrumah government in the 1950s and 60s.
NPP’s newly selected Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh Prempeh, aka NAPO, made the bold claims during a speech he delivered at his unveiling.
NAPO said that when it comes to development, the NPP government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo far outstrips any government in history, including the government of Dr Nkrumah.
Former President Mahama mocked the NPP over their claim, calling their governance as rotten governance.

He said when it comes to comparing records, the NPP should worry about attempting to even match Nkrumah because they cannot even match his record.
