Controversial media personality, Ossai Ovie Success has expressed strong disappointment with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega for inviting popular artist Davido to perform at his birthday celebration.
Ossai argued that Pastor Tobi, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC), acted in ways contrary to pastoral expectations by incorporating secular entertainment into what could have been a spiritually uplifting event.
According to Ossai, the party’s atmosphere and lack of spiritual alignment failed to reflect the values expected of a Christian leader, causing what he viewed as an “embarrassment to the Gospel.”
In Ossai’s opinion, Pastor Tobi should have instead invited gospel musicians to perform, creating an opportunity for ministry and the salvation of souls.
He noted that such an approach would have been more consistent with the message and spirit of Christianity. Ossai emphasized that pastors should embody the “fruit of the Spirit” and suggested that secular celebrations and performances are incompatible with pastoral values.
Calling for self-reflection, Ossai urged Pastor Tobi to seek God’s forgiveness, questioning his consistency in upholding Christian principles.

As the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s actions appeared unrighteous, embarrassing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As a pastor , he should have invited Gospel musicians to come and minister to his guest and save souls to the kingdom of God .
Why does Pastor Tobi consistently bring embarrassment to the Gospel?
He should reconsider identifying as a pastor, as his actions lack the fruit of the Spirit.
A pastor cannot celebrate birthdays with secular performances.
It’s inconsistent.
